The CEO of Doutor coffee Co., Ltd visited Rwanda from 21st to 23rd June 2009, this visit was a great opportunity to know how Rwanda coffee is processed and have discussions with Rwanda coffee farmers, CWS owners and coffee Exporters for future business purposes.
From 10 May up to 6 June 2009, at Nkumba in Burera District, Northern Province, delegates of countrywide coffee stakeholders joined an elite training known as "Itorero", bringing together 601 people committed in coffee sector in Rwanda.
The first 16 Rwandans, one Tanzanian and an American qualified as Q-Graders after one week intensive training at OCIR CAFÉ Laboratory at Gikondo in Kigali. Three others qualified as Star cuppers.
