Rwanda announces the2010 Cup of Excellence® (CoE) schedule, which includes a celebration of the 2nd Cup of Excellence competition in Africa which will take place in Rwanda August 2010.

Rwanda coffee has traditional Bourbon Arabica coffee together with little Robusta. The climate around the  Kivu, Kizi,Akagera,Muhazi and Virunga regions give rise to excellent coffees that are sweet, rich in acidity, strong bodied and a divine aroma. Furthermore, Rwanda coffee has citrus like fragrance with fruity scents and floral notes. Many of the Arabica Coffee farms are located on the hilly mountain slopes and some at very high altitudes which gives the coffees produced special cup content.
